CHRISTMAS IN JULY!

With nearly 100 degree heat today, it does my psyche good to talk about Christmas. I am more of a cold (cooler?) weather
person than a hot weather person for sure.

Temperature aside, it is time to start thinking and planning for the holidays if you hope to stitch something without burning
the midnight oil those last few days. (I bet I am the only one that does that. LOL) Often it seems to be just the lack of ideas that
keep us from getting started.

We are here to help!

See the Christmas in July classes (make-it and take it) to get your creative juices going on some “quicker” project ideas. Plus,
you will find an array of other classes that need just a bit longer than 2 hours to complete.

Of course you will also be seeing a lot of new designs being added for whatever your stitching niche is.

This is not the most robust economy we have seen in Cedar Rapids; it may be about the same where you are. So we are also doing
our part to help you with your “stitching therapy” by featuring specific designers or themes each week, with discounts on those
charts/kits. The schedule of designers appears in the newsletter that will be released July 1.

Is stitching really therapy? It is for me! Whether it is cross stitching, canvaswork, knitting, crocheting … whatever …
needlework can help us relax and enjoy ourselves. If you are in our area, you could even drop by for some conversation as well as stitching.
